Matko Božić, DMD, M.S., was born on January 1st 1972 in Split. He graduated in 1997 at the Dental University in Zagreb, Croatia.
In January 2000 he opened his private practice within “Dental centre Marušić” in Split and participated in the work of High school for dental practice as a lecturer.

He is the founder of many vocational courses in the area of mobile prosthetics of the BPS concept together with Dobrin, DMD from Liechtenstein and cosmetic prosthetics, with specializing in fixed non-metal constructions that were done under the patronage of dental companies Vivadent and Ivoclar (Liechtenstein).
2001.
• Educational centre Ivoclar in Schaan, Liechtenstein.
2002.
• Specialization in Los Angeles, USA at Mardešić, DMD and participation at CDA
conference.

2004.
• Education in Frankfurt, Ankylos implant system within the educational centre.
• Education in Dental University of Prague, implantology, oral surgery, at Prof. Mazanek
and doc. Nathanski.
2005.
• member of HDEI (Hrvatsko društvo za edukaciju iz implantologije – Croatian Association
for Implantology Education), educated in implantology courses by Saša Jovanović, DMD
(Los Angeles), gIDE (Global Institute for Dental Education) organized by SDI computer
company.
• obtains working license for NOBEL BIOCARE implant system.
• post graduated at Dental Faculty in Zagreb and obtained the title Master of Sciences in
dental prosthetics.
2006.
• Member of GOIA – Global Oral Implant Academy in Munich, Germany, and member of
DGZI (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahnarztliche Implantologie).

2007.
• together with Ferić, DMD is the founder of the seminars "Education on the islands"
that has taken place on the island of Vis for the fourth time. In 2007 it become an
international congress.
